When you use the founder intake form, hosted by Typeform, which collects what you enter there (typically your name, email, company and the details of what you are building), or subscribe to our newsletter (your email address), we receive what you enter. Submissions are stored in Salesforce, our customer-relationship system, so the right person can follow up.

When you visit the Site we and the providers listed under Cookies collect the kind of information browsers routinely send — your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how long you stay and the site that referred you — through cookies, pixels and similar technologies. Which of those run depends on the choices you make in the cookie banner; see the Cookies section.

With the Marketing category on, RB2B may match a visit from the United States to a business profile (name, role and company) drawn from its own data. We use this only to understand which businesses are interested in us.

Depending on where you live you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We honour opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control.

You have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was done before. You may also complain to your data-protection authority.

You can unsubscribe from any email with the link at its foot, and change your cookie choices at any time from the footer link.

What the site needs to work and to remember your choice. Vercel, which hosts the site, may set cookies for security and to route traffic; our own fgv-consent cookie records what you decided here. Google Tag Manager, the container that loads the optional tags below, runs in a mode that grants nothing until you do.

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) — page views, sessions and referrers, aggregated, so we can see which pages are read.
• Hotjar (Contentsquare) — anonymised heatmaps and session recordings, so we can see how pages are used.

• LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation) — attribution for LinkedIn campaigns and audience building.
• RB2B (Retention.com) — identifies the business a visit comes from and, in the United States, may match a visit to a business profile. Under California law this may count as sharing personal information; the Marketing switch and the Do Not Sell link opt you out.
• Customer.io — messaging and campaign measurement for people who have already given us their email.

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, the wider European Economic Area or Switzerland, nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories runs until you accept it. Everywhere else those categories run by default and you can reject them at any time: open the manager from the footer link, or use the Reject option when the banner shows. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal — a browser that sends it is treated as having opted out of Marketing. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser’s settings; blocking the necessary ones may stop parts of the site working.
